L'Eté Musical en Bergerac / Festival Bergerac

Rendezvous every summer with one of the most original festival of the South-West region of France: L'Eté Musical en Bergerac.
 

Deep rooted in the Périgord Pourpre for over 20 years, the association ABC Musique organizes the Festival l'Eté Musical en Bergerac, offering attractive and various programs for all audiences throughout the major sites of the region.
The Périgord Pourpre could be considered to be the "4th dimension" of one of the most beautiful region of France, having gained an inherent personality through its unique vineyards and fortified towns. Monpazier, medieval Bastide, the Abbey of Cadouin, the Abbey of Saint-Avit-Sénieur, the Castle of Saint-Germain, the Barn of Lanquais and the city of Bergerac, meet through the unique and original expression of their geographical context and architecture, matching in the most sensible way the choice of eclecticism for which the Festival Bergerac stands  since its foundation.
In 25 years, the work of its volunteers' team has managed to make out of this festival an indispensable cultural event: the diversity of the concerts and shows express the will to stay away from any kind of didacticism as well as the wish to believe in the spontaneous universality of musical language, having nor geographical nor intellectual borders when flourishing in a welcoming atmosphere.
